Equipoise (eh-kwuh-poyz; think equi-poise)

     noun - balance of forces or interests

Equipoise Wines represents the balance among the many creative and natural forces in wine production. Bringing together love and knowledge and challenge, light and dark, among all who make each bottle of wine possible.

I arrived at the name Equipoise by wanting to represent the melding of my own polarities. The different forces in my life, particularly my community and the structure/routine of wine work, allow me to find some balance and endearment during a spectrum of challenging and exuberant times. It's all messy and beautiful and gnarly and ever-changing. Much like winemaking.
